HET-300o Heavy Equipment Tracking Module
The HET-300o Heavy Equipment Tracking Module is specifically designed to
provide location tracking and management for construction equipment and other
vehicles that operate in harsh environments. The HET-300o includes a GPS
receiver and two-way satellite communications modem that provides contact with
the FMS data center (Fleet Central) from virtually any location around the globe. Satellite
communications are provided via the ORBCOMM satellite network. The module can
connect to 12V electrical systems and comes in a self-contained, weather-resistant
enclosure.
The small, low profile HET-300o module has full RF/EMI protection
and shielding to ensure optimal performance, while allowing enhanced
system sensitivity. An extended operating temperature range and a
vibration-resistant design ensures reliable operation in remote and severe
environments. The unit can be connected to additional on-board sensors, enabling
alerts and warnings of various engine conditions such as engine
temperature, oil pressure and total engine hours.
The HET-300o module can be configured to continuously monitor
sensors and report at selected intervals. Alarm conditions can be
pre-programmed allowing automatic alert notifications. Reports can be
generated on a regular schedule, by exception-only reporting, or in any
combination.
